About my Book Reviews

I rate books according to a five-star rating according to my own enjoyment of the book, where 1* is poor and 5* is excellent.

In addition to this blog, I post my reviews on Goodreads and Waterstones, and share my reviews on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram. 

Please feel free to contact me if you would like me to review your book. My preference is for physical books, though I do seek out digital ARCs via NetGalley. 

My Book Review Policy

I will always give an honest review of books that I read. Accepting a book for review does not guarantee that I will enjoy it. If I do not enjoy a book, I will not finish it, although I will offer feedback.

If I choose to review a book, I will do this within 3 months, and will aim to review prior to publication if in receipt of an advance reader’s copy.

My preference is for physical books, as I like to photograph the books I read to better engage my readers and followers.
